In 2012, XIAMEN TOB NEW ENERGY TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. was officially founded, marking TOBGROUP’s transition from technical practice into an industrial platform.

From the beginning, the company was positioned not as a simple equipment vendor, but as a battery manufacturing solution provider—serving R&D labs, pilot lines, and industrial customers under one unified system.

Entering the Lithium Battery Industry

TOBGROUP’s technical journey started in 2002, when our founding engineers entered the lithium battery field. At that time, lithium-ion technology was still evolving, and most battery production processes were highly fragmented.

Our early work focused on:
